What is “Field Verified”?

  • 20+ Years of Proven In-Field Performance: Proven reliability in both passive (non-activated) and active (activated) states for over two decades.
  • Minimum of 40 MBC Units in Continuous Operation: A large enough operational footprint to validate performance consistency.
  • Zero Spurious Activations: No accidental activations in the entire period.(offshore-technology.com)
  • At Least 20 Successful Activations: Confirmed performance in real world tanker breakout events without any failures to activate.
  • For Pressure Surge Protection Models: Successful activation in at least 10 extreme surge events, again with zero failures or false activations.

This validation process ensures operators of the MBCs’ reliability in emergency situations, minimising the risk of spills and equipment damage.

Proven Technology and Operational Excellence
